This is the first thing I've shipped in a long time so I'm hella excited. I've always had this thought of building like a weekly review thing and sharing it with the people who matter / friends to give like a minor update because I am just plain terrible at maintaing friendships (not an excuse) and just being in touch with people, and I honestly should do better.
but most importantly as a way for me to recap and ponder over the week and document it so I'm more mindful and I can come back to these in say a few months I guess or atleast try.

What's on my mind:

Stupid visa sponsorship bullshit drama going on since a year now fam, I'm tired. It's like I can't enjoy my life / do cool shit / sign up for races / plan any trips till I get this bum fuck piece of paper.

What I'm reading:

Just finished Of Mice & Men by John Steinbeck, first book I've managed to finish in a long ass time, reading attention span has shrunk to that of a gold fish. Its a really nice read very short but very powerful, however theres a lot of old American cowboy english which I found a little hard to decipher at times and I used chat GPT extensively to break down the plot, but I see why its rated so highly.

Sport:

Off from running this week, had to pull myself off this race I was supposed to be running on the 2nd week of February.

  1. Bought a whole kilo of greek yoghurt and wasted it?

  2. Smoked / vaped even though I was sick.

  3. No form of training for 5 days straight under the pretext of rest?

  1. Got started on a fun side project.

  2. Finished a book and started reading another one, like 4 chapters deep already.

  3. Made this weekly shit.

  4. Revamped my motherfucking website.

Shit I'm looking forward to this week:

  1. This visa thing getting sorted (hopefully)

  2. Spending the birthday with the Mrs.

  3. Getting back to training.

  4. Building some cool shit.
